Founded in 1997, Rustivia is a well-established and dynamic company dealing in ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals, refractory supply, and installation, as well as fabrication services. Rustivia Group is 100% black owned with BBBEE level 1. Our main processing facility is based in Germiston with 8000 square meters of operating space.
Providing the best price for each commodity purchased and also to enable the suppliers to sell at their convenience utilising Rustivia Group efficient scheduling and prompt collection services. Gaining prominence and making a name for itself among varied customers through experience, expertise, and innovations in handling, managing, and buying all types of metal scrap. Recovering, sorting, processing and commercially marketing and managing a considerable percentage of recyclable waste in the Gauteng Province and surrounding regions. Expanding our operational footprint in to all regions of South Africa and large parts of Africa and sharing knowledge and expertise in partnership with corporate and other entitles in Africa and thereby benefit the region as a whole and furthering Africa's development.
To complement its range of services, Rustivia Group has skilled and semiskilled workers who possess the expertise to process scrap metals using specialised equipment which the Company has deployed at every step starting from collection to processing and final packaging of the products. Rustivia Metals owns a fleet of skip trucks and crane trucks, 250 collection bins, 5 forklifts, cutting torches, lancing, plasma cutters, bailers and grabbers and weighbridge facilities.
Rustivia Group ensures that it takes all reasonable and practicable steps to plan for and promote healthy and safe working conditions for our employees and to ensure the health and safety of contractors, customers and the general public who are affected by our work activities. All the workers including staff are provided with safety clothing and gear to ensure their personal safety on the premises.
